The Bar

The hub of Fanny O Dea’s is without doubt the bar, with a Terazza and Liscannor flag floor, Oak counter and back bar, Old photographs, the famous Gouldings Clock, old enamel signs and stove all contribute to the atmosphere and make it the heart of the pub. A bar which has seen its fair share of Characters, you don’t know who you might bump into.

Adjoining the bar is the Old Kitchen at Fanny O Dea’s with the original turf fire and crane which dates back to 1790 here you can sit into one of the leather tub chairs or the Chesterfield leather sofa and enjoy the aroma of a real turf fire and step back in time. Why not browse through the visitors book which dates back to 1928. Fanny O’ Deas Bar is first and foremost a friendly pub where you can grab some food, beer, some delicious cocktails or sample the famous Egg Flip.
